Entre urbanisme de bloc et tissu urbain historique, le centre culturel propose une volumétrie de négociation : un socle soulignant la périphérie de la parcelle dont lequel émergent trois bâtiments, ré-interprétation d’un tissu urbain plus fractionné, plus composé.Quatre programmes sont distingués aux sein de l’ensemble bâti. Le socle, lieu de réunion et de partage, il est ouvert sur l’extérieur et s’inscrit en continuité de l’espace public. Le bâtiment sur boulevard, lieu de démonstration comprenant galerie, auditorium et salles de répétition. La tour centrale, lieu d’habitation pour les acteurs culturels en résidence. Le bâtiment arrière, lieu de production proposant des plateaux libres ou équipés.

Between bloc urbanism and historical urban fabric, the cultural center proposes a volume of negotiation : a base, underlining the borders of the plot from which emerge three buildings as the reinterpretation of a composed urban fabric.
Four programs are proposed in this building complex. The base is a meeting place, opened to outside and in continuity with the public space. The building in front of the main street is an exhibition area, including art gallery, auditorium and rehearsal halls. The central tower is a living place for cultural actors in residence. The last building is a production area with free space and equipped studios.
